1. How can I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, please select “Schedule Appointment” from the top menu options. From there, you will be directed to start the scheduling process by completing all of the required patient intake forms. Once ALL of the forms have be completed and submitted, you will be directed to the scheduling page.
2. Do you accept my insurance plan?
Here at 2nd Opinion Dental, we feel that insurance coverage should never get in the way of providing quality services. Consequently, submission of any provided services to a dental insurance company will be the sole responsibility of the patient. However, we will be able to provide you with treatment / insurance codes and forms required to make your submission. Please review the “Terms & Conditions” patient intake form for further details.
3. Do I need x-rays?
Yes, in order for us to provide you with the accurate diagnostic and treatment planning information that you want, we require current and adequately diagnostic x-ray images. If you have current x-rays, please complete the “Records Release” as part of the patient intake forms required for scheduling, or the “X-ray Release Form” found on the “Send Us Your X-rays” page. If you do not have current x-rays, please be sure to select either the “Dental Diagnostic Appointment- with X-rays” service option or the “Dental Diagnostic & Treatment Planning Appointment- with X-rays” service option when scheduling.
4. What if I don't currently have a dentist?
No problem at all! In fact, coming to see us here at 2nd Opinion Dental is a great place to start if you do not currently have a general dentist. As part of the diagnostic and treatment planning services that we provide, we can help you find the right dental office that is tailored to your specific needs.
5. Do you offer tele-dentistry consultations?
We do not currently specifically offer a tele-dentistry option through our website, but if you require a tele-dentistry appointment as your 1st appointment with us, please email us with your request and we will try to accommodate your needs.
6. Why should I come to 2nd Opinion Dental?
We believe that a well-informed patient is incredibly important in order to make smart decisions regarding dental care, but most traditional general dental offices simply do not have the time or resources to spend with patients in order to achieve this goal. Here at 2nd Opinion Dental, we focus on you as the patient by talking with and getting to know you in order to help guide you in your understanding of your dental condition so that you can make the choices that you want when it comes to your dental treatment.
7. What if I have to cancel my appointment?
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice in order to cancel an appointment. Please see the “Terms & Conditions” patient intake form for more details.
